Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A gold metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height over all consiting of a blue hourglass with a gold frame in front of an arched gold scroll, the left side of the scroll inscribed "ANY TIME" and the right "ANY TASK" in brick red, the upper scroll and the frame surmounted by a blue fleur-de-lis, the arenas behind the hourglass and within the arch of the scroll brick red; all on a horizontal gold tire.

Origin/meaning
Brick red and yellow are the colours traditionally associated with the Transportation Corps. The Hourglass symbolise time and the Battalion's motto. The Fess suggests a tire track and stands for the motor transport functions of the Battalion. The fleurs-de-lis indicates service in France during World War II. The Clour blue refers to the former service as a Quartermaster Battalion.

The Coat of Arms was approved on 24 May 1993. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 25 October 1967, it was amended to revise the description and symbolism on 24 May 1993.
