Today, it comprises over 750,000 Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard soldiers, with major subordinate commands including First United States Army, I Corps, III Corps, XVIII Airborne Corps, Security Force Assistance Command, 20th Support Command CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosive), and the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command.
The United States Army Forces Command Distinctive Unit Insignia features the Command's motto, "Freedom's Guardian," on a scroll over three swords representing the three components of the Total Army: Active, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard.
